And cyber-jail is trouble—especially when an electromagnetic sun-burp cuts it off from the real world. She must find a way out before the supplies keeping her physical presence alive run out.

But like the nightmare that clings on when you’re desperate to wake up, the Virtual Correction and Rehabilitation Service wasn’t done with her. 

Then there's this girl—Clara. Jenna should never have stood a chance. She is kind, compassionate, tolerant. Everything Jenna wasn't, which she showed all to often. Yet Clara kept coming back. 

Together, they plan to swim their way out of that digital quarry lake, only to find a real world that almost made them wish they'd stayed inside, “drowning” with the rest of them.
